Rosalind Wiseman speaks in the Maggie Daley Speaker Series

Thank you for attending the first event this year in the Maggie Daley Speaker Series, featuring bestselling author and parenting expert Rosalind Wiseman. During her talk, Rosalind addressed the issues our children face growing up in the age of technology and social media, recognizing that “schools are messy,” and conflict between peers and within schools is inevitable. Drawing inspiration from the “it takes a village to raise a child” mentality, she then offered concrete ways to work through these complex issues that arise in our families, classrooms, and schools.

If you were unable to attend, a recording of the event will be shared in In the Loop and With Mission in Mind in the coming weeks. If you would like more information about Rosalind or the work she does with Cultures of Dignity, please visit culturesofdignity.com.

Thank you to the Social Emotional Development and Technology (SET) program for partnering with the Maggie Daley Speaker Series to bring Rosalind to FXW. In the coming months, please look out for more information about our spring speaker, Eugenia Cheng, Scientist in Residence at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
