Preparing students technologically for what lies ahead has been a hallmark of an FXW education and experience. Throughout the year, we challenge our students as they continue to develop foundational computational thinking skills. As an extension of our strong STEM curriculum, for the fourth consecutive year, students in Kindergarten through 8th grade participated in a distinct FXW Week of Code the week of December 4-8. The activities built on our yearlong work in STEM, science and math classes and focused on perseverance and teamwork with an emphasis on coding, 3D modeling, and unplugged computational thinking.
