Equity and Justice Bulletin—Vol.13

What We Are Celebrating:

There were several firsts and memorable moments during last week’s inauguration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, but no one can deny that Amanda Gorman, America’s youngest inaugural poet in U.S. history, stole America’s heart. FXW will be walking the talk as faculty incorporate this lesson suggested by the New York Times to teach students about this woman of impact.

As a school with a social justice mission, FXW is committed to Do More with respect to improving the overall quality of community life, educational experience, and circumstances for our Community of Color and marginalized groups here and beyond our four walls. If you have resources to share with the FXW community about equity and justice, please click here.
