Morning Drop Off:
All students enter through the main doors on State St. State St. is a “Kiss & Go” lane from Superior St. to Chicago Ave. This lane is for immediate drop off and continuously moving traffic. There are several ways that parents and students can help to keep the “Kiss & Go” lane moving.
- Students carry all bags, lunches, and school materials on their laps and are ready to go.
- Parents drive forward as far as possible and drop off students.
- Parents heed the directions of school staff.
- If possible, students arrive to school before 8:00 a.m. Supervision of students is available starting at 7:30.
If you need to park your car for any reason, please use Wabash or Superior, as State Street will be for continuously moving traffic.
As a reminder, students are to arrive to their classroom by 8:10 to watch the morning broadcast.
HNC Afternoon Pick-Up begins at 3:15 PM. Parents should wait in their vehicles on either State St. or Wabash Ave. to pick up their child. As a reminder, double parking on State Street is not permitted; vehicles will be ticketed. Also note that the 3:10 OSP bus arrives on Wabash Ave at 3:25 PM. Lastly, parents should not leave their vehicles unattended during dismissal time.

If you need to park and leave your car unattended during dismissal, please use legal parking spaces on our surrounding blocks.
Please note that during the Holy Name Cathedral Courtyard Reconstruction Project, student arrival and dismissal locations will remain the same.
