All children must be current or enrolled FXW students. The student release and medical form must be completed and turned into the OSP campus before your child’s first day of camp. Registrations are accepted online only.
The Frances Xavier Warde School makes every effort to accommodate all children wishing to enroll in its Summer Programs. Please know, however, that the program cannot accept children who are a danger to themselves or to others, nor those who may be disruptive to the point of negatively affecting the summer experience of other campers. Persistent activity of this nature will be grounds for dismissal from the program.
Parents and/or guardians are urged to discuss with our Program Directors any special health related conditions or needs (i.e. asthma, allergies, etc.) regarding their child prior to registration.
All OSP campers must be toilet trained. Toilet training is one step beyond potty training. Once your child is able to go independently, you can help him/her learn all of the steps of bathroom self-sufficiency. The steps are:
- Knowing you have to go
- Going to the bathroom or asking an adult to go
- Closing the door
- Pulling down pants and underpants or push up skirt and pull down underpants
- Sitting down on the potty and climbing up onto the toilet
- Going to the bathroom
- Getting up and pulling up pants/tights or pull down skirt
- Flushing the toilet
- Turning on the water and washing hands with soap
- Turning off the water and drying hands
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Full payment is due at the time of registration. Cancellation requests must be received in writing no later than May 31st, 2016 in order to be granted a full refund. Thereafter, beginning June 1:
- Cancellations two weeks prior to the beginning of a weekly course will be refunded at 50%.
- There will be no refunds for cancellations less than two weeks prior to the beginning of any camping session.
- Refunds will be issued by the Finance office after July 1st.
The FXW Summer Programs reserve the right to cancel any class where insufficient enrollment (generally fewer than 6 students) is the case. Every effort will be made to notify families of any cancellations in advance, as well as to give these families priority in re-selecting alternative camps or classes. While there is no formal registration deadline, all weekly fees must be PAID IN FULL before the start of each weekly camp.
Dismissal and Late Pickup
Campers must be picked up promptly by parents or other authorized person listed on the Student Release Form. Students not picked up at their normal dismissal time will be charged a $25 fee for each day of late pick-up.
Camp begins at 8:30am. Students must be supervised by an adult until camp starts. No early care is available.
OSP Campus Lunch/Snacks
Lunch and two snacks will be provided by Quest, our current food service provider, and are included in the cost of all Camp Jaguar camps.
Field trips are held once a week at FXW. Chaperones may be needed. *No drop-ins are allowed on field trip days.
