Annual Fund

In the late 1980s, Maggie Daley envisioned a school that embraced diversity in all its forms, a safe haven that would provide students both an excellent education and a strong moral compass. She approached Father Jack Wall, then pastor of Old St. Pat’s Church, who eagerly accepted the challenge, and together they collaborated with Mary Ellen Caron, an experienced educator who became the School’s first principal.

Together, these three embodied the vision, the spiritual foundation, and the leadership that was necessary to make the Frances Xavier Warde school a reality. Many others played critical roles not only in the founding but also in the ongoing success of the School. Working together, they made the dream come alive. With your support, the dream remains alive today and tomorrow.

Dedicated, passionate, talented individuals working together for the greater good. It all adds up to an institution that has been transforming lives for nearly three decades.

The theme of this year’s Annual Fund – “It All Adds Up” – is a reminder that FXW is more than a collection of individuals. When we come together as a community, all working together, we are capable of extraordinary things. Our goal is 100% participation.
