Recently, our 7th and 8th grade students staged a major production of Guys and Dolls, complete with scores of poodle skirts, solo performances by lead actors and the accompaniment of professional musicians. Other students acted in scenes from ancient Greek drama, or in Schoolhouse Rock. During February, there was a remarkable concert, which highlighted African-American music from the mid-19th century through to hip-hop. The younger children also put on several concerts and plays to which their parents and grandparents were invited, including stories from that childhood favorite, Strega Nona. Come and experience what might be the most complete Fine and Performing Arts curriculum in the city!
