Parent Media and Technology Newsletter
Be on the lookout in today’s Wednesday folders for the Parent Media and Technology Newsletter from Dr. Emily Arnstein and Sarah Vaughn. A digital copy can also be read here. This newsletter will be shared triannually to provide information and resources for families to better understand the digital landscape that is such a large part of our students’ lives. We hope it is an informative and helpful resource.
For parents with 5th-8th Graders, now is a good time to perform a regular check for the condition of your child(ren’s) iPad and case. The iPad screen and corners should be in good condition, with no signs of cracks or dents. The case, and most importantly the rubber form that holds the iPad in place, should be holding the iPad securely with no signs of rips or tears. If the rubber form holding the iPad in place is ripped or torn, students run the risk of damaging the iPad through accidents. New iPad cases for 6th-8th Grade can be purchased here. For 5th Grade, new cases can be purchasedhere, be sure to order the blue case. Contact Sarah Vaughn with questions at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for working with us to keep the device we provide your child in the best condition for learning.
